TGIF Dinner & Speaker Series

The Scandinavian Centre hosts a dinner and speaker series from September to May. Dinner is held the 4th Friday of each month.

TGIF Markmann Award Dinner/Speaker

2026 Markmann Award recipient is Sonja Lundstrom

Date: Friday September 25, 2026

Speakers : Eva & Richard Neufeld

Topic: "Stories from living and learning in Sudan for 25 years" 

Eva & Richard will have pictures and tell of experiences of how it is coming to a completely new culture and language and getting to know a country and its people, often in a very different way than it is presented in media.

Doors open: 5:30 pm

Dinner: 6:00 pm

Markmann Award Presentation  7:00 pm, speakers to follow
